I have many new firearm and firearm accesory suggestions for Unturned 4.0 update. Also, I will list the problems with the gunplay in the demo video.
(JUST A DISCLAIMER) I KNOW THESE SUGGESTIONS ARE EXCESSIVE FOR THE SIMPLICITY OF UNTURNED. THESE MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN DONE IN MODS AND GENERALLY ADDS TO THE FUN-NESS(???) OF THE GAME.
Firearm Accesories and Suggestions:
Different real steel style slides for pistols like SAI, Agency Arms, Taran Tactical, etc.
When weapons are broken, you must use actual firearm parts (Bolt, Barrel, Buffer, etc.) to fix said gun
You can replace the parts on firearms for upgraded parts like rifle stocks, pistol slides, rifle rails, extended barrels, etc.
Would like to see more modularity with firearm accesories like the ability to add upgraded stocks, rails, different length barrels
Better Suppressor. Like jeez Nelson, real suppressors donāt break after 3 shots.
Maplestrike and Eaglefire accessory suggestions:
Different rails like LVOA C style rail, Troy or Midwest Industries pistol length rails (7"-9"), or MOE Handguard
Different Barrel Lengths (18", 16", 14.5", 12", 9", 7")
You can make use these barrels to make a integrally suppressed look or SBR look with the short rails
Different Stock Styles like Magpul MOE style and MFT style stock
Magpul PMAG style polymer magazines
Zubeknakov and other AK accessory suggestions:
Zenitco stocks and rail covers
Polymer Magazines
Pistol Accesory suggestions:
SAI, Agency Arms, Taran style slides
Light going under gun instead of on the side
Ability to add RMR style pistol sight (2.0 you could add sights to pistols. Feeling nostalgicā¦)
Different, upgraded, suppressor options like SilencerCo, AAC, Liberty, OSS
Fixing Broken Guns:
Instead of fixing it with tape, string, and twigs (seriously Nelsonā¦), guns should be fixed with a basic set of actual gun parts.
The main gun parts that wear down the quickest are the bolt and barrel
Would also like to see some new foregrips and stuff like stubby grips, bipod grips, and light grips.
AGAIN, I KNOW THIS SEEMS A BIT EXCESSIVE FOR UNTURNED BUT I WOULD JUST LIKE TO MAKE SOME SUGGESTIONS!!! Most of my gripes about Unturned are about gun modularity. I have been playing Escape from Tarkov recently and I really like the firearm modularity aspect of it. I play Unturned to build bases, kill zombies, and collect the best gear possible. Most of my guns are already modified to their fullest ability.

When you pull back eaglefire charging handle, the bolt releases without you pressing the bolt release.
ā¦what? you mean when equipping? you know how racking a bolt works, right?
if you mean when reloading then itās likely just that he hasnāt implemented empty reloads yet
Donāt see mag release pressed before magazine is ejected
ā¦maybe becauseā¦the modelā¦doesnāt haveā¦a mag releaseā¦?
itās not like it matters anyways. the trigger hand would be pressing it with an index finger anyways.
When empty magazine pops out, still see yellow bullet in mag
probably a modeling issue as opposed to a gameplay one
Thanks so much for your suggestions and your complaints about my post. Decided to follow your advice and delete that portion. I understand that my suggestions are a bit excessive for unturned but the little details make all the difference. Hard to portray my feelings in a text form, so some of my suggestions may seem a bit vague. Guess this portion of my post didnāt come out quite correctly. Decided to make some corrections.
I like gun modularity as much as the next guy, but keep in mind that this is the game about simply surviving it out in an easy to pick up manner, not a gun sim like H3VR. While these are good and all, the game canāt market itself and gain players as a āeasy to pick up,ā zombie survival game with vast and have in-depth gun customization.
I like your ideas, but they would anchor down the game if added. Like-wise some of these would be great for the DayZ Standalone if they actually made progress with it.

Please speak English because all these names and numbers⦠kinda made no sense to me. But based off what @Whistleblower said, when releasing a mag, you use your finger, and we got no fingers in this game. Bullets left in the mag after releasing it would be a nice touch. And the charging handle goes back by itself. No need to press a button to get it back
Iād prefer a mechanic where youād press the reload key to reload at normal speed and keep the mag or hold the key to reload faster but drop the mag on the floor. That way Iād be more easily able to keep an empty magazine if I want.
