I think your logo is great, but maybe transform it into a circle, here is my concept art that I made quickly.

U means Uranium in the element table
Uranium Fever has done and got me down
That’s actually really well made and executed, I love it. So much better than the zombie face or other people’s suggestions of just adding a gradient to a “U”
