Hello, I don’t know if anyone agrees with me, but the new scope updates are really awful. We could already do this by setting the scope quality to ultra. I don’t understand why you added it to the game completely?

These settings were (and technically still are) quite different. It’s somewhat covered in the Update Notes, but the two important things to note are:

Scope Quality besides “OFF” enables Dual Rendering for Scopes. This renders the game view twice, and is an incredibly performance-intensive setting. The new “OFF” setting is not Dual Rendering, even if it visually looks similar.

The old Scope Quality “OFF” setting provided significant gameplay advantages over other players. With this update we’ve made it so regardless of your Scope Quality players should have a similar experience.
Certain options were added to emulate aspects of the old “OFF” behavior. Next update (currently on the Preview branch) will add a server option to force the 2D Scope Overlay as well. (Use_2D_Scope_Overlay
