I would like to see more realistic and better functioning npcs, who is with me.
Inb4 everyone hates this idea
You gotta be clear about what realistic stuff should in NPCs, and what makes it a ‘Better functioning’ one.
I mean ultra-complex NPCs is a big no.
Im talking about the zombies and the animals, I wish they were more like the stuff in dayz in the way that they can roam around like they, you would find in the walking dead.
@AnimaticFreak This might be a possible candidate for you-know-what
ok see i’d like to see:
traveling merchants
quests that giving you opition to
create your own radio by this secenrio:
you get a quest search some metal bars blowtorch stereo
and other stuff then giving the npc the stuff
then he gives you an microphone and broadcaster
you place them in your base and broadcast like on a walkie talkie
also some npc that will attack / protect you from other npc or zombies
and some npc like government officals that will sell pre-zombie disease stuff like:
suits
rare medicine
guns
I’ll format this for you,
NPC Ideas
- Travelling merchants
- A quest that allows you to broadcast to walkie talkies, which requires you to gather metal bars, a blowtorch, a stereo and some other stuff. The NPC will give you a microphone and broadcaster, which you can place in your base
- Some NPCs will attack/protect you from other NPCs or zombies
- Special NPCs such as government officials will sell pre-zombie apocalypse such as suits, rare medicine and guns.
Now let critique your points. First off, we don’t know what 4.0 will be like in terms of NPCs. The community is sort of split about having NPCs or not in 4.0 that wander around the map, etc. I’m personally for NPCs such as bandits that can attack and provide an actual challenge.
You bought up radios, which, for the most part are kind of useless. And no one would like to have some random micspamming kid take over the radio and broadcast ‘It’s Everyday Bro Bass Boosted’ down everyone’s ears if they possess a radio/earpiece. Unless overhauled, the radio will never be as useful as say, Discord.
Now, you mentioned travelling merchants. I can’t see much point in this. If I were in a zombie apocalypse then I wouldn’t be walking around selling stuff to random people. The government officials might be alright in say a military bunker (like Hellenic in Greece), but I don’t think they’d sell you guns. They’d make for a good quest or too though.
Ill give it a pass, doesn’t specifically mention the you-know-whats.
so basically like minidayz (look it up on the google play appstore if your tired of me mentioning this game but have no idea what it is xd) cause minidayz had some merchants, now they just send you on quests… anyways there are also hostile npcs which attack you on sight but if you shoot at them and they dont have a gun, they run away, ect. If you attack the friendly npcs they all become hostile.
