I don’t really think a potato launcher would be that useful against the Turned, then again, I’ve never been hit in the head with a potato.

Well a friend of mine was hit and died but he would not tell me if it hurts, is more of a delay weapon repeated shots can kill zombies and more hardly players.

Looked up the lethality of a potato gun.
Apparently it’s far more dangerous than one would believe.
The first thing I saw was on Wikipedia, and I quote:
Projectiles or failing guns can be dangerous and result in life-threatening injuries, including cranial fractures, enucleation, and blindness if a person is hit.
Wikipedia also states that the principle can easily be weaponized, as potato guns are technically combustion cannons depending on how the projectile is launched.
A physicist and Air Force Academy cadet ran a couple tests. Apparently even the simplest hairspray-fueled spud guns have more than a 50% chance to cause a skull fracture or to crack ribs and cause them to impale internal organs. It was also found that if the gun was fueled using acetylene, then potatoes fired from the gun reached average speeds of 300 miles per hour.
Large-scale examples using lots of air pressure reportedly had projectiles that broke the sound barrier.
So yeah. Potatoes are deadly. Not to mention you could use this to fire grenades and whatnot.

Now I don’t know ANYTHING about potato launchers, but I think this wound be fun weapon to Unturned 2.

Me and some friends have shot a bunch of potato cannons over the years, and I can definitely say without a doubt you could kill someone with these things. We accidentally put holes in fences and garages with them. They are also super loud, so yeah.
Y’all keep joking about this but we already have a nail gun, this isn’t that far off to be honest
