I host a small dedicated server for me and few of my friends to play on, but ever since the arid update i haven’t been able to successfully start the server. It starts just fine but when it comes to downloading workshop files every single file experiences this error e.g: “Download workshop item 877777769 failed, result: k_EResultFail”. Then, when i try entering server upon entering the right data (port password etc.) i am instantly notified that server cannot be found. I tried created test server, with no workshop mods on it, and i couldnt connect on it either. The notification i recieve is “Failed to find server.” (Instantly). I’ve never had any similar issues with Unturned Dedicated server tool. Is this some general issue that will be resolved and, if its not, can someone help me resolve it?
Have you tried again since the time of your initial post? Normally this is an issue with losing connection to the Steam Workshop servers (e.g., it’s Tuesday so they may have been down for routine maintenance).
Otherwise, there should be a log file at steam/logs/workshop_log.txt if you’re using SteamCMD, or U3DS/Logs/workshop_log.txt if you’re not using SteamCMD.
I have, but the problem remains. I’ve opened workshop_log.txt and there is a message: “Updating workshop item details failed with Failure”. That’s it. No other specific explanation.
I’m getting “Update canceled: Updating workshop item info failed (Missing configuration)” and then “Updating workshop item details failed with Access Denied”
Checked GSLT and outgoing ports?
And server allowed to write to Workshop?
I do not have Login token. I tried creating one following instructions but now when i start the server i get thos: “Failed to connect to Steam servers because k_EResultAccessDenied, no longer retrying”.
I’ve created new token and put it under the Login_token in Config.json. Did i do something wrong?
Edit: I’ve tried putting it in Commands and even if i get the message “Login token set successfully.” i still ket access denied…
I’ll try to specify my situation as much as i can. I’m using unturned dedicated server app. Port that i set is 27015. My friends and i play on the server i create using Hamachi. On every server i’ve hosted i’ve downloaded workshop files by using workshopdownloadids.json. I’ve hosted multiple different servers and i’ve never experienced any similar issues. Not with port forwarding nor with downloading workshop files. Before few days i was able to, with no problems, start and play on this particualr server. Whatever caused the problem, happened recently and happened without me making any changes to the server.

Yes, i’ve found this before posting on forum. In my workshop log i don’t have any specified issues, and the guy in this post said he resolved the issue by reinstalling the SteamCMD. I didn’t even have SteamCMD before this, but i’ve installed it just in case. Still did nothing… Also on top of not being able to download workshop mods i cant even connect to the server. I start it with dedicated sever tool and there i can see these messages about workshop downloading failing but the process finishes. Then when i try connecting to that server i get the “Failed to find server.”. I also get that message when i try connecting to dedicated server that i host even if i have no mods do install on it…
