I hate so much that map props that you can’t use, for example on Russia, shereyavo (can’t write it lol) there’s planes, but you can’t use them and I hate that not usable props so much…
Tell me your opinion
EDIT: the props just shouldn’t be in game if they aren’t usable
Some props just shouldn’t be useable, either because the object they represent isn’t something that is useable, or because interacting with the object would be useless/overpowered.
you do realize how much coding that would be for a 1 man team. Im pretty sure if everything was useable, Russia would be like Germany. L A G
Keep in mind that no game has 100% useable props.
I mean some things are unusable for a logical reason.
(And that rule/reason is broken later anyways)
Broken cars?
They’re broken
Planes?
Can get up to the door, door probably locked,
Some random guy cant fly a plane, needs proper fueling, needs a copilot maybe, most likley has no electricity and cant be recharged with car batteries.
Rockets and intercontinental ballistic missiles?
No power, requires that you can get past all the security features.
Child’s swingset?
How confident are you that something designed to support a childs weight that was left out to the elements for however long the turned have been here can support your weight.
But some things definitely should work if logically possible OR fun and useful
Well if you hate Unusable props then the exit is right across the hallway. Every single Unturned map has not usable props. Whoopsie wanted to fly a Giant ass airplane? Wanted a Giant Tank-train? A Giant Nuclaer Missile? Well too bad because that would make the game have unnecessary things around the map.
I’d only like props to be usable if it’s stuff like crates/newspapers/etc. Being able to use everything is dumb, specially because most vehicles in unturned are either broken or probably out of order (not working).
Think about Half-Life 2. Props like in that game would be better than what you suggested
This is silly because this is basically the ‘Remove if useless’ argument but for map objects.
There is a mix of map design, gameplay and logical reasons behind it. You can’t make everything resourceful, so by your philosophy houses should be almost empty because the props aren’t usable
This makes zero actual mention of Unturned II so I recategorized it to the 3.0 category which is the most fitting.
I also agree with the others in that this is a chronically bad idea, since there’s literally no game that exists where all props are usable, and that’s done for balance and gameplay reasons. Your rationale is questionable at best with this one.
