this is just a suggestion for the windshields on cars, they don’t just break as all the other windows do, they actually bend but if the thing causing the damage is weak enough, it will just make a huge spider web crack on the windshield so can you make it like that in Unturned?
now obviously this doesn’t mean full crash physics, i’m just saying the windshield is a lot stronger than the other windows on the car

I think having details as minor as bending windshields would be ridiculously over the top for UII, but having basic graphics for a weakly cracked windshield is fair game.
Yeah I think a windshield getting cracks as its HP gets lower and lower would be a better idea than modelling and creating this entire system of “bent” windows.
I also think, that if Nelson made the crack texture dynamic (like, where you shoot is where it will crack) rather than a static texture applied to the windshield, it will be more immersive, fun, and skillful to shoot at cars or be the ones driving inside.
obviously if you shoot a car’s windshield it should create a hole, otherwise that would be confusing
I do like windshields being stronger and would like maybe a bulletproof windshield too , idk it might be too much for the zombie apocalipse but it would be interesting . Also welcome to the forum

yea but the hole should be small with large cracking instead of the windshield just completely shattering like all the other windows
