I think the scope functionality needs a slight rework.
Currently, with dual render disabled, the quality inside the scope (when holding RMB) is High (without dual render, and the image in the scope has no anti-aliasing). However, if you set it to Low or Medium, the image becomes blurry and unusable—nobody would want that since the quality in aiming mode suffers.
In my opinion, this setting should only affect the scope quality when NOT aiming (see screenshot below).
That is, it should only affect this (non-aiming view), not the actual scope view. Otherwise, Low and Medium make no sense, because with Off quality, the scope still renders at High—just without dual render.
Who would even want to look at this blurry mess? It’s better to either disable it or enable High/Ultra dual render and see a proper image.
Low quality:
Medium quality ( Light blur effect – but who needs this quality setting if it just makes the image blurry anyway?):
For example: High and Ultra
I suggest either:
- Removing the Low and Medium settings (and renaming High to No Anti-Aliasing and Ultra to With Anti-Aliasing, since that’s the only noticeable difference I’ve seen between them),
- Or changing how they work (as described above—only affecting non-aiming quality).
Additionally, if possible, remove the general screen zoom when dual render is off:
And it would be great to have an option to disable the blur effect while aiming.
