I think system like this will make other players very OP and that would be big problem for beginners. If Nelson could balance it then your ideai is good.

it would more unlock abilities based on in game progress, the abilities it could give could range from usefull to decently good.
Isnât the point of any game mechanic is to be balanced?
I think that this idea would be great, but I also donât want it to make players blatantly stronger.
I would like to see players have maybe 3 Slots for Specialised Skills. As you unlock these skills, you can place them into these slots, and as you get more specialised skills youâll need to pick and choose which skills are really important to you.
This idea could also lead to the possibility of Abilities. Where you could unlock special abilities in the same way youâd unlock specialised skills but you could only choose one at a time. These Abilities could be everything from a simple kick, to mag flips.
