Suggestion post: expanded food system

Don’t really know how to use this forum but I’ll try anyways

Title is self explanatory, similar to the likes of the more farming mod. this suggestion looks to expands the variety of food and drink items in unturned, along with reworking and adding in new features and effects in relation to gardening, cooking and food/drink consumption.

The overhaul of some kitchen related furniture could be worked on as follows:

Fridges can be powered to preserve food/drink items to prevent spoilage as long as a generator is on in the vicinity.

Kitchenwares such as pots/pans/skillets/mixing bowls could be used to expand the requirements for cooking recipes.

For gardening:

Gardening can be expanded with the addition of more planter types along with more fruit and vegetable items being available (along with seeds), along with more maintenance for crops while they grow (watering them)

Machines for making certain food items like juicers can be used to make raw food into processed items, as long as they are powered of course!

In addition, if Nelson ever decides to add more features/effects related to food/gardening maybe there can be temporary buffs and debuffs to food like:

“nourished”(increased health regeneration / gradual sickness decrease) for eating crafted / cooked food.

“energised” (increased stamina recovery / less stamina usage) from energy drinks / candy items.

“poisoned” (gradual health decrease / sickness increase) for eating uncooked food such as raw meats.

“Green thumb” (planted crops grow slightly faster) if player maintains crops.

I will expand on this post more if I think of anything further that would be worthwhile adding :laughing:

Good idea but I am sure that there are a lot of stuff to do in game. This idea is as good as adding system of mechanisms (wires, switches, buttons, etc.) So maybe in future we will have this
