the cot is basically useless, I was thinking maybe make it so the bedroll destroys itself if you respawn, but the cot works like it has always worked? or maybe some other buff to one and/or nerf to the other?
I forget if the cot can be destroyed with punching or not but I don’t see a need to make it do anything different. Pick whatever looks better, or the bedroll if you just need it to be slightly cheaper.

the only difference is the cot has more health and costs 6 extra scrap
And still gets destroyed in a couple bluntforce shots.

agree, but they are still kinda useless as items sadly
Could make one reduce respawn time too.

A better route would be to just rework the stats for both the cot and bedroll. Up the health on the cot and make it so the bedroll can be destroyed easily.
I’d also like to note that the main difference between the cot and bedroll is looks. People enjoy having an actual bed.
