This has been a feature since Horde mode came out.

It would be really cool to either choose to play as your zombie-self or have them roam around as a zombie with your gear on. Imagine killing your old self to get your stuff back. That zombie could be armored with armor plates and all if you had that kind of stuff. A true boss enemy haha.

Horde mode is pretty raw now, zombies can wear clothes and take guns.
