Vehicle Armature/Model Showcase

Hello, Mr. Fox here.

This post is going to be a mixture of modding support, and a little bit of a showcase.

Recently, I’ve been heading into modding, albeit with very little knowledge of said subject if you’ve seen me around the forum (it’s like watching a clueless tourist tbh). Working with armature to make all the little bits of black magic happen, I want to make sure I’m not wasting time here, so I was wondering…

...is it even feasible for something like this to run in Unturned?

EVERYTHING, down to the flashing lights and suspension uses armature.

(I tried to get it as low poly as I think was necessary without too much loss of detail.)

The vehicle itself includes an animated bar beneath the chassis, a functioning drive shaft, animated rotating lights and ‘stags’, and functional and independent wheel suspension. If armature is possible to implement, literally all of this will work! : D

But I’m asking if armature works, because I don’t know if it’s supported yet.

yeah this will work

make the drive shaft a wheel and for the suspension put a position constraint on the bones of the axles? i guess and put the source of the constraint as the wheel its connected to

Wow. Just wow. I love all the lights and the animation!

As Kopfstroh mentioned, this should be possible in-game, yes!
