Hey, been playing for a while now, and for some reason weather doesn’t work for me anymore, it literally just stopped working randomly, and I don’t know what happened or how to fix it.
It doesn’t matter what I set the weather (rain and snow) frequency and duration values to, it just never ever rains or snows, I’ve idled in maps for like an hour just waiting for weather events to happen, but nothing.
So far I tried resetting all my world settings and straight up reinstalling the game, but that didn’t fix anything, the only way I can get weather events to happen are by manually setting them with cheats.
Please help, I wanna be able to play with weather again.
Sorry for the trouble! After weather ends the game “schedules” the next weather event. Depending what the frequency config was, it’s possible the next weather got scheduled far into the future.
The naming is misleading: since “frequency” is number of in-game days between events, a lower multiplier (e.g. 0.5) will increase how often they happen (oof). What’s your multiplayer?
If the next weather IS scheduled far in the future, you can force a weather event using a command to then have the next weather scheduled sooner.
Okay, tried this for quite a while, and it didn’t seem to be working, but today I booted up the game, got into Yukon and it instantly started snowing naturally, guess it just took a while. Thank you!
