This does happen, just rejoining fixes it usually. iirc molton couldnt recreate this bug

Adding to Molt’s comment, this is such a strangely rare bug. I don’t think I’ve even run into it a single time yet on my test servers.

never happened to me once in my 14k hours of unturned 
I’ve seen it a few times, never tried to figure out what caused it though.
well not sure what happend, but it has to do with when you die , cuz i died and when i clicked respawn i respawned but the respawn tab poped back on, then hitting respawn didnt make it go away, just esc did. not sure how or what happend

I think i had a similar experience when I clicked respawn button a bit too fast whilst hitting a prone button and opening chat
