Each group correlates to a certain amount of health, excluding Head/Torso
If the health of both Legs/Arms are fully depleted, 50% of the player’s overall health will be depleted (happens gradually with the health lowering of each group)
If the torso’s health is depleted, 85% of the player’s health will be depleted.
If the head’s health is depleted, 100% of the player’s health will be depleted.
Head/Torso
This group will be the main part of the player’s overall health
The head has a modifier that increases damage, while the torso takes base damage of the weapon (unless protected)
If hit in the head by a blunt weapon when the attacker has a high enough strength (determined by a skill and the weapon used)
Arms
Arms take minimal health from the player’s overall health when damaged, however there are other effects that make hitting the arms worthwhile in combat
Getting below 50% health of the arms will cause: inability to hold two handed weapons, shaky arms, slower use time
Below 25%: inability to use weapons, even slower use time for consumables, slower punches
At 0%: cannot use items, must wait for timed healing or be healed by another player.
Legs
Legs take the same amount of health away as arms.
Below 50%: broken leg effect similar to the current one in 3.0
Below 25%: only able to crouch and crawl, reduced speed on crouching
At 0%: can only crawl IFF arms are above 50% health.
i get what your saying but what about russia?
And what about people with big bases
they hoard ALL the vechicles
Leaving barely any room for good ones too spawn
Can’t use scopes, can’t use nightvision, can’t use items in vehicles (or vehicle weapons), can’t use binoculars, ADS accuracy is worse, melee only registers on collision, and mouse tilting is not possible when piloting aircraft.
The main benefit is the improved vision, with downsides really only being canceled out if firstperson and thirdperson are both allowed on the server, which means at some point you will have to give up the thirdperson advantage temporarily.
Not saying that there aren’t issues regarding its balance, but there’s definitely downsides.
I would say that thirdperson should be fully functional first. No reason to nerf a feature that cannot actually support itself during normal gameplay without firstperson.
I think when you light a campfire it will only burn for a certain amount of time until it stops and you have to light it again. It would be better than 3.0 as it just burns forever.
Unclippable buildings and terrain, perhaps a revision of how beds work while we’re on that topic.
The reason i find this quite important, let alone relevant, is that players have a rather unhealthy tendency to build nearly indestructible bases inside certain structures (mostly bridges) or simply under the map, where their belongings will be safe and sound until someone with the same mindset or an admin decides to sniff them out.
To give you an idea on how common such “creations” are, I simply had to hop into my server and snap a screenshot of underground Seattle for a perfect sample: https://imgur.com/a/kKv8O.
I think a simple and efficient solution to this would be some kind of no-build zone, such as the one you see at the boundaries of the map, saying “Out of bounds” if i’m correct.
