If you have multiple mods/workshop addons that include new objects, trees, materials, etc, it can sometimes be really overwhelming and confusing to find certain objects, even if you know where they come from. An example would be if you wanted to find a road object from a certain mod, you have to type “road” and then sift through all the different vanilla and modded roads until you find the one you want.
I suggest that the current object filter be expanded to also filter based off a selected mod or addon.
Example
Source [ Search Bar / Drop Down of Mods ]
You would either type in the name or ID of the mod, or select it from a drop down menu that lists all downloaded content as well as Vanilla Built-In
That way if you want to just look for Vanilla stuff, you can filter just Vanilla, or Modded. This combined with the normal object name search would make pin pointing what you are looking for much easier.
Just wanted to note that although it’s not exactly what you’re suggesting here (which would be a more user-friendly way of doing this, similar to this other suggestion), you can filter by masterbundle if you know which one has the content you’re looking for.
Option 1 – Masterbundle Filter
Use mb: to filter by masterbundle. For example, mb:core would only show objects from core.masterbundle (vanilla content). You can combine filters such as fire mb:core to only view vanilla objects with “Fire” in their name.
Option 2 – Favorite Searches
Create a text file with a list of filters (separate by newlines). Use fv: to filter by this file. For example, fv:example would only show objects from the example.txt file. Similar to the previous option, you can combine filters such as mb.
