Yes it is a demo of what nelson wants to present to us but he organized it with a bunch of other QoL features to make it a more appropriate beta (Menu, settings, etc.). You could say it’s both; beta as the game itself and demos for trial maps (Firing range and Blastlane)

He wants the beta to be a version of the game that isnt really barebones so people get a good feel of the game and the hype stays ?
