I think a thing about the fire zombie in 3.0.
Many probabily the idea of make him its to players dont kill using melle or well you know… He explode.
But why no instead of he explode when hes aproaching cause damage by fire,
it sounds less… Wow a zombie exploding OMG!!! This is the thing plus normal than i see Wooow!
This would actually be rather interesting if you removed the explosion that flamers create. It applies the same effect of encouraging players to use ranged attacks, whilst not killing half their health for using melee.
In addition to this, I would repurpose the spitter as the one that explodes. But instead of doing significant damage to you, it would turn the nearby zombies into spitters like the flamer does currently. If you aren’t careful, you’ll end up with a barrage of acid heading your way very quickly.
