His point was that OPās idea has āsafeguardsā to prevent such combinations from happening, and youāre just ignoring that fact to bash the idea further, despite there being many other comments in the thread already giving more even-keeled examples why such a system doesnāt really have a place in UII.

Might as well drop my final thoughts on this as well.
If you have been keeping up with the stuff that Nelson has been putting out for 4.0, you would know this kind of suggestion is the exact opposite of his vision for the game.
Now, I donāt know if this topic is really continuing or not, but if it is: stop trying to defend it. It wonāt happen.
Now, I wouldnāt mind seeing the game be moddable to the point where something like this could be possible. Thatād be pretty cool. Outside of that though, no thank you.

i know there will be āsafeguardsā it does not matter cuz the fact is that u will be able to change that stuff anyway as a modder. so stuff like i posted will happen soā¦
like with changing the .dat file.
To be fair, you can already make abominations as a modder by changing the .dat file. This post is about the vanilla unaltered game.

not even talking about how alot of those combos cant happen. or would/should logicly have no effect on the stats. but yea in the end the idea. could work as a mod like tehswordninja said. but as a game fetureā¦ just no.
As a budding gun lover and owner of one rifle, I just have to say No. I donāt like this idea. Iām barely okay with the random gun system that Borderlands has, but this is worse.

Oh cmon man, you obviously havenāt tried out the any mod any weapon mod for fallout 4. You can stick a minigun barrel on a rocket launcher/mini nuke launcher and itās fun as all heck.

You can shoot rockets as fast as bullets from a minigun.
Also, itās mostly a mod to just screw around, not for actual legit survival gameplay.
I didnāt mean the fallout mod lol. I still wouldnāt download if that wasnāt in 4.0 but just a mod.
