I am trying to make a desert map. When I place the texture and click bake high quality it becomes grass again. Can anyone help me or is this a bug with the editor?
You need to change the height that grass spawns at to be super high and it should fix your problem. same with any other materials that appear before the material that you want.
How do i do that?
In the legacy editor, material settings are located under the material list.
So I need to put that really high? Like 1 or something?
If you move the one for grass to max, then grass shouldn’t spawn at all and everything should be sand automatically. Also, here’s another related post that had a similar situation: Material Painting not working and appearing differently ingame
