Player counts consistently decreasing and more (empty) servers propping up really gives the illusion. Can’t blame people.

What has happened is Unturneds presence has died down a little, The community and playerbase is clearly still there. Its mainly just content creators that stopped covering the game and some groups of community members going silent.
